Headaches
One of the main areas of focus for my clinic is headache management.
Most people have headaches that are occasional. However, if you are having frequent headaches, speak to your family physician for a referral, as you may have chronic headaches. There are many different types of headaches. The primary headaches are migraines, tension headaches, and less commonly Trigeminal Autonomic Cephaglia. There are various treatments available depending on the subtype of headache you have. This includes but not limited to, medications, Botox, and injections.
However, if you have a sudden onset, severe headaches, at times accompanied by stiff neck, confusion, seizure, double vision, you should seek medical attention immediately. Botox treatment for headaches can be performed with your cosmetics Botox treatment. Listed below are treatments for headaches. Please ask for details at our clinic.

I perform Botox treatments for migraines patients from all over BC.
Botox injections may help reduce how often you get a migraine. This treatment is used for patients who have headaches for 15 days or more per month. This is called chronic migraines. Botox is done every 3 months to prevent the frequency and intensity of the headaches.
The injections are performed in the clinic and the procedure can take up to 15 minutes. Botox for migraines is covered by extended health. Our office will organize and complete all the extended health paperwork required to efficiently allow you to have this treatment.
